TROUPE OF THE REVOLT
FIRST
An artist submits a pitch to be reviewed. Once approved for TOTR, the artist is grouped with the artists and organizers they need to get the idea done.
THEN
The group works together to develop the idea get it ready to produce. Within three weeks, what used to be words on a page will have been fully realized.
HOW
TOTR is primarily powered by those who are interested in being a part of it. Shows could be put on and produced without money, but without people interested in writing, in acting, in desing, in photgraphy, in expressing themselves artistically, TOTR would be helpless.
GOALS
In addition to starting conversations, there are a lot of goals that TOTR tries to accomplish for different groups of people.
WHO WE ARE
Despite the picture, the answer is not businessmen. However, we do work as a group as the picture DOES well illustrate (sort of). We are collaborators, determined to make good conversation with masses of people by putting on 5-10 minute street plays and other art on in the QUAD at Texas Statue University.
Writers:
We want to give you a first publication and performance.
Theatre Actors:
We want to give you more practice at your craft.
Non-Theatre Actors:
We want to give you an opportunity to practice your art that you might not otherwise get
Audience:
We want to make art acessible to you.
OUR MEETINGS ARE THURSDAYS AT 5PM.
